You know, here and there I see postings out here having to do with singledom, whether you are happy with it, whether you would like to change that etc. If I answer at all, I mention I am perfectly content with things the way they are. I really treasure my freedom. While I have no shortage of friends of both sexes, I also find I am not at all uncomfortable in being alone and think nothing of going out to dinner alone, taking a vacation alone etc. I’ve also witnessed enough married couples interacting to thank my lucky stars I’m not in a relationship that would make my life a living hell or make me feel like I am constantly walking on eggshells with a partner searching for some reason to be offended.

 But, it’s good to know if I ever do with to enter a relationship, I can pretty much have my pick. I don’t know how, but apparently, it’s gotten out that I am quite a catch. Not a day goes by without me receiving offers of companionship with lovely ladies from all over.

Good to know if I do decide to look for someone, not only are Tatyana Valya, Lesya and Galina obviously interested in this 57 year old stud. I get messages like this every day. Admittedly, they appear to struggle a bit with English, but I’m not much of a conversationalist anyway.

Gee, talk about bursting a guy's bubble. You guys are really the bearer of bad news here. Wish I had learned these appear to be scams before I bothered to take the time to pose before my camera on a timer to snap that juicy photo of me bent over wearing nothing but my old jock strap from high school gym class. I don't get those letters, but I do get offers to be friends with some rather strange fellows on FB.  I can't pronounce their names and they're from places I've never heard of.  And they're much much younger than I am!  What on earth do they want to be friends with this old lady for??  I've always said "I've been saving it up for years".......but I sure wasn't talking about money!  ;-)

I know what you mean Karen but don't you know, woman of our age who are single are supposed to be overjoyed to have young men interested in us?! Frankly, I raised my sons and am not interested in starting over! If I'm gong to be keeping company with some guy he better be on my level and like you, my money is mine not theirs.
