So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

 

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

I've been known to yank that chain too, but it goes both ways. This summer, when it's too hot and muggy for me to to walk outside, I'm sure he will retaliate.

I'm not sure right now if it will ever get warm again.

Yep, it will and probably even too warm. Hot even maybe. Can you see the heat shimmer on the highway?

Hope you have a wood burning stove to keep you warmer DD. Even with furnaces I liked a wood burning stove when I lived in cold climates.

cool 70°F on Tuesday, but should warm up to 74°F today in Houston.

I do have a woodstove home in N.Y.S. Lifesighs. I agree that a secondary heet sourse is critical. We lost power one winter for 5 days in a row at below 10 deegrees. Most winters we loose power for at least a cuople of days. (Im wayyyy to old to freeze my ass off with no heat) 

I am not in my homestate now however, spending time with My Beloved..then shooting over to N.J. to lay some love on my brother.

it's 2 deegrees in NY

and 17 deegrees where I am tonite. We have heet in both places so are fine.

 I am haertbroke and woryed abuot N.Y. Sandy victoms that STILL Do Not have power tho. There is no excuse for these storm victoms to still be dealing with this crap. Poeple die in these temperatures! N.Y.Power Company(s) get yuor S^@# together and get these poeple straightened uot!!!
