Went out in the boat on the river this morning, temp is in the low 80s...
High here today is 38, it was 26 when I left for work.
64 and overcast here. Down into the 40's tonight. Guess I can't really complain, but it was pushing 80 yesterday.
I don't really mind cold (remind mind me of this in February) but driving in ice, fog and dark gets to me after a while.
I wouldn't like to drive in ice and fog either Dwalt.
We had an extremely cold week, unusual but it warmed back to mid 70's yesterday. I think the cold spell will be moving east. Brrrrr, hope it doesn't get to your area.
It will stay cold here (I live by Mt Rainer) until April at least. Wish I would win the lottery so I could stay home and look out the window at the snow....
Put on your big girl pants (and galoshes) and deal with it.
Do people wear galoshes anymore? I think I'm giving away my age (again).
Be safe dwalt.....I need all the playmates I can get.
oh that visual!
big girl pants and galoshes....
need i say more?
ohhh wait...this is about the weather?....
You forget I have my mighty "studded" tires oh great one. I see people slipping and sliding and I just keep on going. And yes they still have galoshes, I wear them to clean horse stalls. Hmmm, I'm showing my age now....
Rainier averages over 900 inches of snow a year, I understand. It sure is spectacular, though. I'll never forget my first glimpse of it. I've seen many mountain ranges, and they're beautiful. But the way Rainier stands all by itself...above the clouds.....is awe-inspiring.
