TBD on Ning

I'm trying to start a few new habits and find it almost as hard as getting rid of an old habit. The first habit I'm trying to start is eating breakfast, some days I still miss and the earliest I manage to eat is 9 am. Do any of you have any hints for starting a new habit?

join a religious order? the loving sisters of the truly pathetic is looking for members....uhhh i mean recruits...i think some of them may have found members already

if it is the other type of habit...get up earlier so you reorganize your body clock

Getting up early?  Yuck that sounds like working days.

When I started to eat breakfast, it was cereal and skim milk, and I ate it while I put on my make-up, so no time was lost at all.

They say doing something just 21 times will make it a habit.  So shoot for 21 times in a row.

I don't like to eat for an hour or two after I get up in the morning. If I eat too soon after getting out of bed I feel like crap and it seems I stay hungry all day. Guess we're all different.

I am with you Amerikin, I can't eat right after I get up in the morning or it seems to slow me down and I feel hungrier much earlier in the day.  Since I work from 11:00AM until 6:00PM, I try to eat as close to when I have to leave as possible so I can get through the afternoon.  I tend to just eat two meals a day and it keeps me feeling as though I am not loaded down.  I do eat small snacks during the day, sometimes but not regularly.
