So, for those that have property on the grassy knoll, concussed? Really?

On a day that almost anything but what happened in Newtown, CT, would be appropriately overlooked, we have a concussion story, but not a Sunday one.

No, this one is that the outgoing Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton has fainted and either on the way down or on hitting the ground became concussed. And though she was not admitted to a hospital, she is resting at home under medical supervision. The circumstances are not being reported, as other than, as a response to illness that had caused dehhdration, as to where and how she fell is not yet public.

What is public is, the Secretary's congressional hearing appearance will probably be postponed until next year due to the injury. And of course, that means that the results of the official Benghazi investigation could also be known, which means, that the facts and conclusions will be know prior to the Secretary's sworn testimony. Result, if there were to be misstatements and inconsistencies made by the Secretary in testimony prior to the release of the reports, she can now use the released or otherwise review facts and conclusions as the starting point of her testimony and not be in danger of committing perjury, and able to deflecting blamed or otherwise not accidentally put the whole affair into question, pointing in ways that could lead to...well...lead to somewhere and someone else.

And, be good to go in 2016, without fresh winds on the grassy knoll, or not.

Where do you hope; Impeachment?

There is not doubt that Washington was focused on a right wing anti-Islam video that was made specifically to stir the Christian Vs. Muslim pot.  And maybe their intelligence didn't see the suspected imminent terrorist attack would be in  Benghazi either, although the White House did ask for additional funds for additional protection for Benghazi and other U.S. interests.  That was voted down by the same GOP that now claims Bengazi is Benhazi-Gate; a White House cover up.

It's pretty obvious the GOP was trying to take advantage of an event and make it into an "October Surprise to hurt Obama in the election.

Post election it has been pretty obvious that the GOP is torpedoing any candidate for SoS other than Senator Kerry.  The GOP is pretty sure if Kerry leaves the Senate they can replace him with Scott Brown, the Republican who lost his Senate Seat to a Democrat last November.

Politics is a dirty business to be in. :0(

you want to know why things were f****ed up for information about benghazi? look at newton ...same scenarios....conflicting reports, conflicting theories and conflicting 'facts'...and there was a rush to demand answers right now goddammit...and fingers pointed before the blood had even begun congealing...so of course you had f***ups...and maybe some people feeding erroneous facts as well...wanna wait till they figure it out and THEN apportion whatever 'blame' is deserved?

exactly. from all reports she has always worked her ass off. she got sick and took a hard fall. a little concern is apropiate.

Well, the report was delivered and it isn't good, for anyone in responsible positions and of course as to blame, well, it points in many directions.  As to the SoS is concerned, this did occur on her watch.  As to ramifications, a few, but overall it is going to be assigned to yesterday's news as it concerns outgoing Secretary Clinton's  legacy.
