STATUS UPDATE

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share. My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world. His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)" etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

Dead guy suppect shot multiple people at an apartment complex near my office. Apartment security guard was shot, then maintence man was shot. Then suppect grazed with bullet another man in parking lot in failed car jacking. Thencar jacked a woman's Trailblazer at gunpoint. He fled and exchange gunfire with police and rammed into patrol cars. He also shot at firetruck and ambulance and rammed a SUV which two of the motorists were taken to hospital. Several other were also injured and also taken to hospital.

Police say suspect was immediately handcuffed after crashing into other vehicles. The suspect appeared to have one bullet wound, and paramedics pronounced him dead on the scene.

I heard a commentary this morning stating that FB is not considered "cool" any more by the demographic that made it such a hit in the first place. This coming on the heels of the latest "I know what you need and what you want before you do" mentality of changing members e-mail addresses on the site without prior notice or consent.

The author of the comment claimed FB is on a down hill slide to obscurity. :-)

There was someone on being interviewed on CNN about a week ago predicting FB was going to go downhill too. He said that within 8 years it would be "irrelevant". He didn't think it wold be totally gone, just a thing of the past.

I've noticed that several younger members of my extended family have dropped off FB. Its no longer the newest "next best thing", I guess.

Headed to the Dr's pretty soon. Time to schedule the annual colonoscopy. Then a trip to the bank, Sam's club, and later today I go the the massage therapist. She usually does my chest, neck and head, but last week she also worked on my pelvis. Been a long time since I had a strange woman's hands on my butt. I about cracked up when she was done. She told me "You have a lot going on down there" and that "You have a very talkative pelvis".

Due to scheduling, I won't be having it until the end of the month. Since I've been cancer free for over 8 years, Dr said if the can get a good "clean" look, I may only have to get one every 3 to 5 years instead of every year.
