i'm a little slow, it's taken 5 days into the month for me to realize that i was still chatting in last month's thread.  but here we go, spring really IS going to show up and soon, Daylight Savings Time will be upon us -- daylight lasts longer into my favorite part of the day, but for the morning larks, it means they get to stare off into the darkness for an additional hour.

I  must run over the border into Vancouver USA to get a couple rolls of plotter paper before the "great blizzard" of 2012 hits here.  LOL

snow to the south, so hopefully you're back home before there's any danger -- and in time to pick up Sharon?

Home with no problem.  It was raining sorta heavy with a little snow mixed when I picked up Sharon.  It is stopped now.  It has been 39 degrees all day so if we get any I doubt it will not stay long.  Sharon's snow dance is cancelling my sun dance.  LMAO

The rain continues...and the ground is still soaking it all up. 

The fun part tonight? The lights dimmed a bit at play practice and we could hear the wind howling. So we finished up and headed for home, one of the gals was getting a little antsy. LOL So here I am turning onto my street and all the lights are off, I circle around seeing who all was without power and saw pieces of plastic fencing hanging in the trees and scattered all over the street and yards. Further investigation found the fence that someone was planning on putting up had been blow all over and knocked down the power lines. I got in the house using my flashlight and once I got all the candles lit....the power came on. 

A glass of wine and a book are calling my name....keep sending that rain Richard, it is WONDERFUL!!

i'm glad Crystal's ok from last nite, and Richard&Sharon got home safely, and there's some rain in the drought belt after all.

and i am soooo glad to still have this forum to keep touch with you folks who are special to me!  thank you!
