TBD

TBD on Ning

We're still here, we survived whatever the holidaze brought us, and we're ready for the serious part of winter, right?  Whether you love it or hate it, we'll get thru it.

Did you make any resolutions?  if you did, come back mid-January and tell us how you're doing with that!

Good Saturday morning!  It's 35 degrees and dry with snow in the forecast for tonight.  I hope it is only a myth for the two wimpy gimpys of us.  The corner market and a hand full of restaurants are a short walk away so we won't starve.  The freshly tuned furnace is purring away as I type.  Life is good.

Have a good weekend guys!

good morning, friends!  i'm waiting for my guests, but have no clue when they plan to arrive.  sigh.  i hope their being here is less frustrating than the planning.

Richard, it's supposed to get UP to freezing today, here, but hasn't done so yet.  ugh.  but dry at least -- surely there is some restaurant take-out/delivery service in Portland, that you can take advantage of to "order in" something besides pizza, if the weather gets terrible?  as long as you have power, you can search and get creative, at least!

Robbie, too bad your laptop is giving you trouble.  is this the same one you had for the first Pittsburgh meet?  if that's the case, it's not about which brand, it's about the age of your operating system and the fact that new online tools are made for later versions of Windows.  but if you want an Apple, far be it from me to discourage you.  one of my nephews is a Mac fan, it's just about personal preference as far as i can tell.

Crystal, Thalia, Baia, Kittycat, Cat, Goldilocks -- hope to see some of you this weekend!

Anyone home?
Been a hectic week, seems that the days just speed by.

It is gorgeous here today...I need to be outside being lazy.

I hope I have the energy to go to the Fireman's Ball tonight. Might be home early, I am a little bushed after this week.
Survived the ball game last night, I just wish they could get together as a team and win a game.

Have a great day!!

I missed RRC. I missed Lynn and Richard. Right now, looks like I am the only one on line.

hi, all!  survived day 1 of company.  i've lived alone for close to 20 years, 'cept for the odd weeks of having an adult child visit, and omigosh, i forgot how much kids talk.  just nonstop!  maybe boys aren't quite as chatter-filled but there's not been a silent moment while they were awake!  wow!  not unpleasant, just takes unaccustomed energy....

have yourselves a GREAT Sunday!

Hi Lynn, you are finding out just how peaceful and quiet life can't be with kids present.  LOL  This reminds me of dinners at my ex-in-laws.  Eight of them and the four of us with six+ different conversations going at once in a small house.  It was quite exhausting and I was glad to be in the car on our way back home to peace and quiet.  LOL

yes, my brain is tired!

I hope all have had a good weekend.  A relaxing day yesterday.  This morning we met my daughter, son-in-law and his parents for breakfast.  Afterwords my daughter gave us the grand tour of her new office.  She is very happy, tired, and glad the process is finished.  She and her hubby are leaving soon for a few R&R days in US Virgin Islands.

the office is finished?!?  yay!!  pics?

Good evening, everyone!  It's been a very quiet day here, nothing to report.

Richard, Lynn, I'm glad you got to enjoy good family times this weekend!

Good evening Goldilocks quiet days are a good thing.  Have a great week ahead.

Hi, Goldilocks.  not family, just friends....
