TBD

TBD on Ning

Suggestions anyone?

Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

Do you like Chinese food?

Pan seared Swordfish steaks, Cuban style black beans annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddd.......

yep. sauteed sweet yellow onions.

Tomorrow is the work potluck.  I thought I'd be clever and make "Jezebel" sauce.   It is wonderful over cream cheese smeared on a cracker.  I haven't made it in...30yrs.   I spent quite a bit of time researching for the right recipe I recollected.

On my print out it called for what looked like 7 tsp of fresh ground pepper.  I spent a good 10min grinding out that amount while Cowboy was off to the store to get ground mustard..not the mustard seed that I thought was ground.

After all was said and done...about $10 later, I took a taste....HOLY COW!

I asked Cowboy to look at the printout and he said it looked like a 7....back to Google...all other recipes agreed that it was a 2....

When I screw up I don't do it half way....

So glad I had plan B...:-)

well, I guess you could spend $10 more & triple everything else!

good idea, d !!!  Tonight i made homemade potato leek soup, mmmmmmmm!!

Tonight I made taco salad.

We had Italian sausage on black beans & rice & a side of tomatoes & bleu cheese w/balsamic vinaigrette.

Dunkin' Donuts holiday donuts and leftover sugar cookies from a work party.

My daughter made me chicken parm with spaghetti, but I had it "to go". I ended up eating left over taco salad, cause I didn't want the lettuce to go to waste. Guess I know what tomorrow's dinner will be.

We dined at Cracker Barrel. I have breakfast food, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Caleb had meatloaf with mashed potatoes

I had pork bar-b-q with pickle slices on what bread. Followed that with cherry pie with a ton of whipped cream. I'll get off this sugar high by Feb.

...maybe you should shoot for mid-Feb or after. We might eat a lot of sweets in Largo.

...I'm at least anticipating drinking a lot. '-)

George and I had leftovers from last night - ham, potatoes and corn.  We had homemade chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
