Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

Islands Restaurant: Big juicy Maui burger ( has guacamole and swiss cheese) and some skin-on fries and lots of Tropical Iced tea!!! So many calories, but so worth it!!!

You know those Vienna franks that come in the little can? Well, if you heat them up and put some of 'em in a hot dog bun, and slather them with French's Mustard, they are edible.....just barely. Tasty? No, not really.
My mother "gifted" me a tin of those little wienies.....she bought them by mistake, so she says.
That was last night's supperdinner, along with some potato chips and Coke.

In the South Vienna (pronounced vi a na) sausages are a delicacy. They should be eaten on a plain white crackers with lots of hot sauce. Followed by beer or a coke. I prefer the beer.

Hey, I have a good friend who used to always carry those little cans of Vienna Sausages around as snacks in case he got stranded somewhere. That happens a lot in military avation. He swore by them. The rest of us usually carried Cliff bars or some kind of candy or cookies. He just had his third heart surgery. He's pretty stubborn. Says "screw it, I'll stop eating vienna sausages when I'm dead". Yep, he's a typical Warrant Officer.
