So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.
On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.
Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share. My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world. His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)" etc.
Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.
So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

Olivia Hamilton lives near there. I am sure you remember her.
Yes I do! Have you met her?
Great sense of humor.
Tonight Happy and I are in a La Quinta in Salem, VA.
Tonight I am ending a day w/significant fatigue from my Celiac episode. But I am hanging in, much better than usual.
Sorry to hear that Deez, hope you get through it quickly.
I am sick of hearing about cookies and candies that everyone is baking. Sunday I sat eating peanuts [that I brought in my pocket] while others around me gobbled cookies, a friend walked up and I made sure she wasn't allergic to peanuts since her son is very allergic. I got a little smarty about the cookies since no one seems to understand a person's reaction to wheat and corn. Guess I will make my own and eat every single one by myself.
Okay..well...that was an unexpected rant. I better go sit by myself for a bit.

(continuing the rant)
sigh.... I know, Crystal, it's tough sometimes. We went to my step-brother's in Alabama Saturday to celebrate Christmas & Ducatiman & I arranged to arrive after lunch & leave before dinner, just not to have to deal w/it. btw... my step-mother made Betty Crocker's Gluten Free chocolate chip cookies (she added walnuts) & they were quite good, in case you haven't tried them.
My status today- I'm still hanging in, but I'm about 5 weeks into this Celiac episode & have been expecting to be getting better, but I'm not. Today I've had a lot of joint pain & one of the fractures I had pre-diagnosis is painful, bruised & swollen. I'm sitting w/it elevated & iced right now, thanks to my lovely man who's doing a great job of caretaking. I know I'm very fortunate compared to many, many people and I know that it's not so bad, but I'm weary of it.
