STATUS UPDATE

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

 

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

Today's status was taking care of some paperwork for various things here at home.  It has mostly been a rainy day.

Tomorrow I'm driving 2 1/2 hours to rendevous with cronies from high school for lunch.  I hope they have a menu with a nice variety of deep fried items.  The restaurant is called the "Moe-Z-Inn". 

I think I'll like it there.

Status...It appears that I have a water line leak under the concrete pad this house is sitting on. I'm not a happy camper right now. I hope I don't have to pee, cause I've got the water shut off, and that means flushing with a bucket of pool water.

In answer to Quinn's Question yesterday or maybe the day before?  The computer and/or the Verizon air card is very iffy. I often get error messages. I just tried to post on another thread here and got a message that another computer on this site had the same IP as mine.  Then when looking at the lenovo web site, somehow lenovo made itself my default browser. Well actually it seems to have attached itself to Internet explorer. I called Lenovo and they told me how to get rid of it. But the solution did not work. I finely floundered around and figured out how to get rid of it. I keep getting error codes from Verizon (WMC640). Have no idea what that is. Guess I'll have to go to the Verizon store tomorrow.

So, My computer is fixed.Sort of.

Well, today I moseyed on down to the Moz-E-Inn, in Morley, Michigan, for lunch with six other high school classmates.  The food was terrible, but mercifully, the portions were skimpy.

All that didn't matter one whit....we seven guys had a great time...retelling the old tales, catching up, and doing that lame-o flirting with the waitress that old guys do when they're together.  There's safety in numbers.

That is one honkin big sidewalk. The roads in West "By God" Virginia aren't that wide.And you must be wrong about the food. The sign says it's good.
