So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.
On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.
Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share. My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world. His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)" etc.
Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.
So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

And for that I am thankful.
That's so nice to hear about d's. It reminds me of my lovely Ollie, that wasn't his real name but since I called him that he had it tattooed onto his chest where a name tag would go. And he used to wait up for me to wake up in the middle of the night since I discovered that I do my best thinking and organizing and planning around 3am. He followed me around like a ginormous love sick puppy sporting a tough guy image with the heart of a very sweet , gentle human being. Thanks for reminding me d's.
you're welcome, Merry. Love. There is nothing better.
(((hug)))
I'm putting up 2 trees this year. Got the first one up in the front window. A 6 foot, 1950's aluminum tree, decorated with all blue ornaments, with 2 color wheels shining on it. It has a rotating base, but I didn't turn it on. Figure that would be way too much temptation for the cats. The other one won't go up until my 2 year old grandson can come over and "help" me put it up.
I've been working on embroidering a clematis onto the back of a jean jacket and trying to figure out who it's for. It's too small for me.
Horrible Thanksgiving Day - strained my lower back that required a trip to the emergency room. I've got some muscle relaxing meds and can hobble around fairly well now.
That must've been one big-ass turkey you lifted out of the oven. Stuffed with Portland cement, perhaps ?
Hope you feel better soon ! Last year , I did a complete wipeout when the turkey and all the juice fell onto the floor, very slippery.
I'm a lot better today. I was swinging my axe chasing some wild turkeys around in the back yard and swung off balance. Then they all stood in a line and mooned me while I was lying on the ground squirming in pain.
But I told the doctor I hurt myself lifting up a heavy tree branch.
