It could have been me too DD...I traveled that road...People just like me picked me up & taught me how to live....I have also picked up many as the years have gone by...Am still always willing to give a addict/ alcoholic & lift up if they are reaching out.....RIP Amy.

That is what I feel...... compassion...It is hard to keep it up for the person who continues to relapse though there is hope for everyone & we keep on trudging that road & remembering where we came from.....I suppose we are the lucky ones who hit bottom & have a awakening of sorts....Mine was like a whollop over my head...."WTF are you doing" ?...:)
