We are built for it around here. I have two central units. One upstairs and one down. Together they cool over 3000 sq. ft. My electric bill for last mouth came today and I don't think it is that bad.

It was 90+ degrees here late this afternoon when George and I came out of the movie theater, we almost went back in!  It is very humid along with the heat. 

George and I are OK, we have window AC units.
