TBD on Ning

I just got this in an e-mail. Since I don't text I thought it was cute.

English Grammar: Capitalization

In the world of hi-tech gadgetry, texting, and tweeting I've noticed that more and more people who send messages and emails have forgotten the art of capitalization.

For those of you who fall into this category, please take note of the following statement:

"Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse, and helping your uncle jack off a horse."

I text on occasion if I just want to relay information and a conversation is not necessary. And, when I do, I text like I talk--I don't use acronyms.

But, mostly, I'm a caller...

Welcome back Quinn. How was your vacation?

Hi PA!

It was wonderful. We had a great time.

Beautiful weather...great food and drink... lots of  fun!

Yup!  Welcome back Q!
Good to see you, Quinn!
Try to keep up....

I text a lot...easiest way for me to get in contact with my boys. My oldest rarely answers the phone so that is the only way to get a message to him. I do not use any shorthand, complete sentences including punctuation.

I have a friend who answers everything...K.

Tried sexting, I'm just as good at that, if that answers your question.
Careful Craig...once it's out there...it's out there!

I just hope you were sexting with your wife!!

LOL

Why, Miss RRC.....are you suggesting that someone would knowingly cheat on their spouse via an electronic device using modern technology to make themselves seem more interesting than they could possibly be in real life???

The horrors of it all!!!!
