I just got this in an e-mail. Since I don't text I thought it was cute.

English Grammar: Capitalization

In the world of hi-tech gadgetry, texting, and tweeting I've noticed that more and more people who send messages and emails have forgotten the art of capitalization.

For those of you who fall into this category, please take note of the following statement:

"Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse, and helping your uncle jack off a horse."

I don't text....I don't accept texts....I have texting disabled on my phone. If you want to communicate with me on the phone then dial the freakin' number and talk.

We're already losing the art of actually writing a note or a letter. Are we also going to lose the ability to talk???

Good example of high-tech bullshit, Robbie

Ok...I'm through now.

Carry on.

I text all of the time but I don't use those codes. It is the only way to keep in touch with my children. I even text Caleb when he is in some other part of the house. Beats yelling. However using capitals while texting doubles or even triples the time it takes to write a message.

Im old schl i gss...i lik to talk to pple.

I prefer to text.  Sometimes I can not answer the phone and texts can be answered latter.  I have a friend I text daily.  I send a text before I call.  I text:  "Are you free?" before I call.  One time the response text was:  "I am not free... but I am reasonable."  I also text "Aggie Hugs".
I'm with Bob on this one.

You and I and Jaylee may be the last hold-outs.

I won't need to know anything about it......

.......in this lifetime, anyhoo.

No texting...pads too tiny to see...costs extra..no social/business need.

Beside, I can Skype and see a real person, see their face and hear their voice....priceless.

I can send 3 text messages for each minute I talk on phone.  Cheaper to text for me.

Except every time someone texts me it costs me money. And usually it isn't something I care about anyway. If it isn't importnt enough to call about, then send me an e-mail. The constant beeping of a phone receiving texts is very annoying.

I can understand using it with kids. Adults? No, it reminds me of the women who always had the party line tied up when I was a kid.  I have found that most texts are of no importance.

Sorry, Don't have one Kooner. My butts too tight. (:>)
