TBD

TBD on Ning

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

I think it might be a little too chilly in February.

Oh, then you'll need Stir's ratty $5.00 K Mart Sweater for the winter season.

O, goody...didn't know about the sweater.

Yeah, I don't share that info with just anyone.  ;-0

I would think that in both your climates you would need more than a sweater to get through the winter. It takes more than that here.

Stir does lead an interesting life doesn't he. Caleb and I just got back from lunch at The Front Porch. He had a Caleb Sandwich and fruit tea. I kept telling him that is a sissy drink but he drinks it anyway. I had a open face roast beef sandwich and unsweet iced tea. Following lunch we went to KMart for a lovely shopping trip. Caleb bought a wrestling DVD and I bought nothing.

Police were at every intersection along the way. I guess today is the funeral for a local deputy sheriff that was shot and killed on Monday morning. It was a very sad situation. He was a training officer and was on his way to work when he saw what he assumed to be a minor traffic accident. He stopped to help but it was not really an accident. Actually a guy had run his exwife off the road. The deputy was shot by the man as he got out of his car. The man then turned the gun on himself. He died too. All this happened less than a mile from my house but I didn't know anything about it until the news at noon. Stuff like that does happen very often around here.

Sounds like ya'll need a front porch with a couple of swings hanging under it, some spicy bean dip and Tortilla chips and a galion of sweet iced tea.

Kinda sit back and watch the world go by.

Oh yes, P.A., you're absolutely correct.  When I get into winter, I also need to don the insulated blue vest that I bought when I moved up here to The Leelanau in 1975.  Uh, there's hardly any feathers left in it now, and the darn thing has shrunk while hanging in the closet.  Its basically like being insulated by two layers of cloth.  I can't seem to be able to pull it together in the front to snap it shut anymore.

I wasn't gonna mention the vest to Quinn for awhile, but oh well, she might as well find out that coming back as me will possibly carry some unwanted baggage....baggage stuffed with tacky, gaudy, cheaply made clothes, including about 25 Rolling Stones T shirts, and various assorted 'do rags.

I wonder if she'll do a re-make on me, like those Mary Kay representatives do to poor unsuspecting folks.

No changes...it's part of your charm ;-)

I may buy a coat, though...

I'll donate my Michigan winter coat to you. I don't really need it in Atlanta.
OK, I'm not gonna get into the story of the drab brown coat.
In what decade did you acquire it?

80's!

Its quite new, as my stuff goes, and its certainly newer than most of my jokes.
