STATUS UPDATE

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

 

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

My mother used to ride those motorized shopping carts and she called them "electric chairs" and never made the connection with the execution device. She was pretty old by then.

My grandmother drove one perfectly the first time I made her try one (she was in her 90s).

I had to use one for a broken foot & nearly took out displays & customers in every aisle.

speaking of d@mn... I had to curtail my potty mouth today, as I was working w/a colleague who doesn't care for me dropping the F-bomb every 5th sentence or so. (ask Robbie, I'm sure I did that when we were together) Anyway, I refrained quite well. I'm exhausted now though; that's a lot of effort.

I came in here for a reason, but got struck w/A.D.D. & after getting distracted by Little Debbie's & swearing I've forgotten why I'm here. ...I'll leave & come back in, that should stir my memory.

hey, before I go, I'll tell you a little story about my potty mouth. I used to work on construction sites sometimes. There'd be the pretty typical construction workers & me, the girlie designer/decorative painter. MORE THAN ONCE the construction workers wound up calling ME the sailor. sigh....
