Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

I scored half a spiral sliced ham for 1/2 price at Safeway yesterday.  I'm going to make a ham and yam casserole on the order of scalloped potatoes and ham.  I'll let you know how it turns out.  I know it will have yams and ham and sliced onions and salt and pepper.  Still thinking on the saucy part, though.  That and a tossed romaine salad with mikan for dessert.
