Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

Pizza from Suttons Bay's Roman Wheel.....located just a couple of miles south of the 45th parallel.

Nope didn't get to sit down..we had a 14th birthday to plan.

I had a bowl of Quinoa flakes with real butter and salt.

"Red box".....Weight Watchers Salisbury steak and some sort of vegatable.

Well, tonight I went into town, to the greasy spoon where I usually have breakfast. Every Friday night they have a family style dinner for a few people. I used to go quite often, but for some reason hadn't been to it for two or three years.

Tonight they had home made meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade bread, mixed veggies, watermelon and upsidedown peach cake with whipped cream. I had ice water to drink. Total cost....$8. I also left a two buck tip.

Note to self......GO THE HELL BACK NEXT FRIDAY NIGHT, YA DUMB ASS. DON'T MISS ANY MORE OF THESE!!!

Tomorrow is my mom's family reunion. These people are NOT what might be described as adventurous eaters. "Broasted", instead of "Fried" chicken, approaches heresy with this bunch. Adding garbanzo beans to Three Bean Salad is a sign of the imminent approach of the Apocalypse.

So I'm thinking of making a big-ass pot of Dirty Rice. Freak 'em right the hell out. "Dirty WHAT?! What do you mean, 'DIRTY'? Is that perverted or something?, Well, I NEVER! That Rita's boy IS crazy - I've ALWAYS said so!"

Ahh, America. My fiancee suggested that I just ought to bring a box of cracker bread.
