WHERE ARE ROBBIE AND HAPPY?

We are sitting in a rest stop on I-77 just South of Parkersburg, WV. We are headed to Colorado. The route info is in the post in "The Daily Grind" Would love to meet people along the way. I'll start the "On The Road Again" blog back up tonight.

It's Friday night. Where is everyone? After a hard day on the road and a good German meal in downtown Independence, MO. I jump on the computer. I seem to be the only one. I know all the French are in bed by now. So Chez is probably engaged in other things at this hour. But where is Quinn, Larry, Ubu? Why are my typed word bouncing off the walls of the empty tunnel as I type them? Am I doomed to join the chatter on Facebook? Should I go play on MA? Somebody provide guidance, please.
Maybe I'll try the sex talk thread. Yeh, thats the ticket.

Robbie and Happy, We keep crossing the continent in opposite directions. I just returned from a long sojurn in Calif. I'm going back in the spring. I can't stop in Colorado, so I guess we will miss each other again.
Will you please post more trip pictures?

Linda, Will try to take some pics tomorrow. Was going to take some in Independence, MO this morning. However, while hooking up the car and getting ready to leave, my CRS kicked in and a couple hundred miles down the road I remembered what I was going to do.

What did you do while in Calif.?

Robbie, I have a son, his wife and two kids in Menlo Park/Palo Alto.
I had a great vacation, just bumming around, having BBQ's with the extended family, shopping. The weather was a fabulous break from VA's heat and humidity.
The parents are planning a 3-month trip to Europe this spring (work) and the kids will split their time between Europe and going to their school here. I will be their live-in nanny for the duration.
I know my daughter-in-law's family there, and have a few friends of my own, too. I am very excited about spending such a long time there.
And I hope to meet Brian (TBD), also.

Are you planning a trip to the coast, or will your CRS allow you to think that far? LOL
