TBD on Ning

My blog is removed from my page: invasion of privacy.

I think it is outrageous. Are all members treated this way or just me? I post my blog on my page and it is being removed for the second time. This is Invasion of privacy - intrusion into my personal life. I am not going to tolerate it. I want a clear explanation why I can not post my blog, that I personally wrote and have all rights to, why is it being removed. I want an answer.

Alla, I have never had a problem with anything you have ever posted here on TBD. I don't see why The Powers That Be have a problem. I empathize. I certainly wouldn't want my posts deleted. Believe me, I see your point.

Dear Gary, thank you. This is the essence of this discussion: I have my own domain that resides on my private servers. I do not need a place on blogspot or with any popular space provider. I am the author and the developer of my blog. I bring it TBD and want to spark a conversation about computers - that is what my lifetime passion is. Some people here, at TBD see me as major advertiser looking for their money. They overlook the fact that I bring my computer knowledge and share my experience. This is the conflict that I am facing today.

I look at your posts rather often, but did not have a chance to talk to you about them yet, although I find your posts rather interesting.

Alla, you can always get a blog with another service like blogspot. I have a blog on blogspot. I like it.

Jacquin, one thing is for sure - I am not the one that is confused. Removing content written by me, that I have copyright to, is an invasion of my privacy. I was discriminated right here, on TBD.

The conflict could be resolved in a civilized manner. But that's not what happened.

I changed moderation. The comments will be posted without moderation.

Cardan, first of all, thank you for your kind words. My article has the commercial link. Does it mean I am looking to promote my article here, on TBD? Not at all. I am an internet marketer and I promote commercial products on Google, Yahoo and MSN. I pay money for advertisement. If I depended on selling products on TBD, I would clearly go hungry. Then why I did not modify the article to remove commercial link? Because I posted many articles and nobody said a word. I thought it was totally OK to post the article with the link.

If somebody mentioned the link or at least asked me to remove it, I would do it. It is unprecedented - to delete an article. It is a totally wrong approach.

Quinn, my article was posted on my page. My page has the name of my blog. All members that have websites, blog are invited to post their pages. It is totally acceptable by ning. The fact that everybody has access to my blog does not mean I can not post an article on my page. Yes, I do have a commercial link on my. If somebody told that that was a problem, I would modify the article.

At any rate, removing my article without making any attempts to resolve the matter is not acceptable. I want my article to be re-instated and I want a public apology.

Alla, this particular page is not "yours", this is a public posting place. I am sure if you wanted to post commercial content on your profile page that would be okay??
To be honest, I am glad that commercial content is removed from public pages, I didn't come to TBD to be marketed to...

As was explained to you by way of private messages, because you link to your blog and then to a commercial page it was determined to be spam.

'Overly commercial' has to be defined. What is defined as 'overly commercial' what is 'not overly commercial'? How much is this 'overly'? At any rate it is not a reason to discriminate.

I need an explanation. Who gave the right to remove MY PAGE? It is an invasion of privacy. Besides, nobody asked me to change anything. My page was deleted. Outrageous.
