Here I thought that the Party of No! The GOOP without leadership and without impetus to move things forward in this country was powerless and sitting on the sidelines doing nothing. After all, the US is in the midst of one of the biggest financial melt downs in its history. 70% of the American public demand Congress address national health care in some form or other. We are fighting wars on several fronts, Iraq and Afghanistan just to name a couple.

Forget those. Put them completely out of your mind. The Party of NO! Lead by Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS) has introduced legislation to protect us all from that dire threat of human/animal cloning. The Human Animal Hybrid Prohibition Act was introduced to the Senate yesterday by Senator Brownback (R-KS) and 20 other fellow Republicans.

This, of course, follows the failed attempt of the Human Animal Hybrid Prohibition Act of 2007, which was followed by HR 5910, the Human Animal Hybrid Prohibition Act of 2008.

Never again let it be said that The Party Of No! doesn't have its collective finger EXACTLY on the pulse of the major problem facing this country!

On the other hand, with their vocal support of gun rights, if this Act doesn't work out, they can just simply shoot the dang hybrids.

eeYah - I'd say they are about ten years late on that one. We already have over a third of our major produce genetically engineered to produce its own pesticide. We don't know yet what the consequences of that are, but I guess we'll find out soon enough.

It really is a shame the bastards are so consumed with methods of distraction. The infrastructure really is falling apart and they seem to exhibit a single minded, myopic focus that compels them to dwell in BUSHITE.

How fucked up is that?
