November - Month to be reminded to be Thankful for .......

To begin this blog,  I'd like to take the time to be Thankful for living.  I'm a believer of God and Heaven as my end home in the future.

Gift Gang Letter

Copies of the following letter will be included in 86 bags of gifts that will be hung on door handles of rooms in the Cancer Care Alliance units of University of Washington Medical Center this coming Friday.

Wanted to talk about my sister

Some of you know me from the old tbd. I have talked about my sister's illness' in the past. She has MS and Parkinson's. Now they've found she has a rare degenerative disc disease. She has 9 disc in her spine that are really dissolving.

She now spends most of her time on a special board,not able to move for fear she could move wrong and become paralyzed.

The Death of a Loved One and Dreams

On May 30th of this year, my 54 year old brother died suddenly of a stroke. It's been five months to the day since he passed. When I think of him, I still get choked up. I'm not one to remember my dreams, but I've had three dreams about him since he left us. The first dream was very comforting. The Dream Lives On



I felt like that 5 year old little girl watching t.v. as I watched the flag draped coffin of President Kennedy. For a moment I was back there...I was sitting on the floor, with my legs "indian style" in front of the t.v. All the emotions surfaced, this was another fallen icon of my time.
