About Me:: I enjoy long, deep conversations on a wide variety of subjects -- anything from history to astrology to philosophy to movies. There is not much in which I am not at least minimally interested. I appreciate people who tend to think "outside the box" & especially love "old souls".

I hate chit chat. If I am going to have a conversation, I want it to move into more interesting waters almost immediately.

The most important things in my life are my family, my friends (I keep my friends & most of my friendships are long term...10 years or more), my pets (we have a private rescue here... no donations asked or accepted & we don't adopt out, just add to our animal family), my faith (VERY individual & includes reincarnation... if you don't believe in it, that's OK... I can agree to disagree. :) ), my writing.... . Also hopes, dreams & goals....

I am a published poet & am working on both a novel & a screenplay. I have lots of dreams.

Perfect day would be in Autumn with the leaves in full color. Ideally would be nippy & overcast. A walk before the rain would be nice, followed by dinner in front of the fire as we listened to the rain & talked.
