- I am widowed but can't make myself say I'm single. I have two great kids and my world turned totally upside down January 11, 2008. My husband passed away from three different types of Leukemia. He was my bestfriend and I was truly blessed when he entered my life in 1987. I have no regrets on the last chapter of my life but I also want to start the next chapter of my life. I know that God had a reason for taking my husband from me and I also know that he has someone out there for me, or he would have left Joe here with me.
My kids are my life and I now rebuild.
