2 C Sugar 1 C Cocoa 1/4 tsp salt 1 C Oil
2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 tsp soda 2 C warm water
2 1/4 C sifted flour
Combine sugar, cocoa, salt and oil in a mixing bowl; beat tll well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Beat in vanlla. Combne soda and water. Add flour to cocoa mixture, alternately with the soda/water mixture, beating well. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13x9" pan. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes.
Melt 2 C chocolate chips over hot water, cool about 1 hour. Cream 1/2 C margarine, gradually add 1 C sifted powdered sugar, creaming well. Add 3 eggs, one at a time, beating well. Blend in 1 tsp vanilla and the melted chocolate chips, beating until smooth. Frosts a 2-layer or 13x9 cake. Let frosting set before servng.
I will have to try this frosting. I have never used a recipe that called for eggs. I have used one, the 7 minute frosting that calls for egg whites. In fact ,I will also make the chocolate cake .

I have a super-easy dessert that anyone can make in a few minutes and it's so good! Especially for a picnic.
Take 1 can of crushed pineapple and dump it into a bowl, juice and all. Then add 1 box of instant vanilla pudding and mix it together. Lastly, add 1 tub of Cool Whip and mix all of it together. Cut an angel food cake in half and spread the pineapple fluff mixture onto the bottom layer. Replace the top layer of the cake and chill.
