Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

I had, guess what? The yuppie bread with butter like spread, a salad consisting of iceberg lettuce, baby spinach leaves, brussel sprout leaves, radish slices and Italian dressing, topped with popcorn shrimp.
Quinn, I made a gorgeous lunch - wish you'd been here. Salmon on a bed of spinach w/roasted red & yellow peppers, sweet banana peppers, feta, dark red kidney beans & Greek Vinaigrette, spiced up w/a little Sriracha. Even my new chef Commune-ist was impressed. (I think he regretted taking a pass on joining us for a "salad". '-)
Dinner tonight: Leftover Cod, green beans & squash. And I added a small serving of dark red kidney beans.
