So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.
On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.
Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share. My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world. His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)" etc.
Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.
So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

Perlite came in the mail. Bought a bale of peat moss and have my stash of frozen fish bits to throw into the asparagus bed to prep it for planting asparagus seeds. Worried that the dramatic reduction in the commercial bee pop will be a problem for plants that need them to be pollinated. Starting rhubarb from seed and super beefsteak tomatoes. My heirloom onions are coming up. They're supposed to have an excellent flavor as well as being a strange flattened shape. I'm such a garden geek. My scented geraniums are either blooming or budding. The lime scented one is my all time favorite. The last pile of snow left a few days ago but there's still ice about a foot down in the raised beds. I want to start my potatoes. Going for the potato bin again this year. I could go on and on ,it's just sooo amazing that spring is here again.
I enjoyed yuor garden update Merry. As soon as I got home from N.J. and sprung Landseer uot of jail (the kennels) he told me we needed many long walks in the woods. Dog wisdom.
Landseer knows just like my kittyboy Jack knows what's good for me. Did you see the moon last night?
..no I didnt see the moon. i wil look tonite.
I will live Spring vicariously through your posts....Good for you!
=-)
Egg me on heeeeeeeeeeee! OK , so the North Light Gallery here in Milli wanted me to do a bunch of prints over the winter for the summer season and today I spent about an hour with the artist/gallery owner and it was really nice. I was duly blown away by the work of the other artists and will be headed back there just to look at the paintings and sculpture. They took ten of my prints on consignment. They want more work. That kind of makes me a bit torn, I wanted the main focus of my spring season to be fixing up the yard. But now I think that I'd better do some artwork too. Other than that , got my private stock of garlic planted and planted some asparagus seeds too. The fiddlehead ferns will be popping through the leaf litter soon. The temp of the ground is about fifty five degrees and the gladiola bulbs have to find a spot somewhere. I guess night time is the earth's gentle reminder to slow down and smell the coffee. After all like my housemate says, "Rome wasn't built yesterday."
Spring has sprung Merry, but your creativity is sprouting at the same time. You go girl!!!
