I don't think it's more erratic, though, Robbie. If you look at temps & weather for any particular area for decades back there seems to be a baseline, w/variations here & there, but rarely anything startlingly erratic. I think you're just hot. And old. And in an RV. hehehe
(I know, I'm in trouble now, 'specially since you're heading my way ;-p)
Weather follows cyclical patterns; it's just that the cycles aren't yearly...
Our winter this year was very similar to the winter of 1996.
And so far this spring it's been warmish, but for as long as I can remember I've heard people say, "we don't have spring anymore, we just go right into summer." So, it must be the same every year...
Here in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex we broke a record for the most snow in one winter and also in a single 24 hour period. Usually our hottest temps start in July, but we've already had some 100 degree days.
'pert near the usual here...wait a minute and it'll change! Spring sprang early...80's in April...frost in May...Planted stuff in early June...I've got little 'maters now.
Don't need to shovel sunshine....all is good!
I used to live in Montgomery during the late 50's....I remember the boycot and "white only" drinking fountains. I used to live on 'Old Selma' road and go to the commissary at Maxwell with my mom.
I love succotash, ocre/stewed tomatoes and collard greens....
