prolly cause they have a hard time reading up on it...and understanding what they read...

Pretty sad, isn't it?  Seems that they elect the people who try the hardest to crush them and they don't realize it until after it happens, if then.

The 1% and their lackeys want minimum wages for higher profits.  After that they'll probably want to legalize slavery again.

Yuo forgot a step LLL first they wil abolish the minimum wage to make the poeple hungry and debilitated- then legalize slavery.

why would they legalize slavery? this way they get the good parts without having the cost of medical care and food etc...it's cheaper to have wage slaves than real slaves...and when they get sick and old, you fire them..(remember the mistakenly leaked memo from walmart telling them to insert into every job description the task of gathering carts in from the parking lot so they could get rid of the handicapped and elderly workers on the basis of not being able to do the job?)

Well, that sucks, I couldn't get a job at Walmart, boo hoo.  No wonder so many of the people who work there are so crabby.  I avoid going there at all costs but sometimes I have absolutely no choice, like if I want to feed my cats for 15 cents less a can of food.  I don't buy clothes there, I don't buy anything that I can get elsewhere but I do buy cat food and cat litter.

and of course keep everyone fighting amongst themselves over inequality instead of banding together

...devide and conquer...what a concept.

problem, I missed that Walmart memo, God those Createns!

True, minimum wage is clearly causing them a great deal of anguish, that's why they don't want it to be a "living wage."  I work with a number of people who are on welfare and food stamps to support their families.  If I were not on disability, I would be right there with them.  I can't work much because of health issues but every little bit and I DO mean little, helps.

heah..whats the skinny on yuor sholder?

Shoulder is shit...can't have a rotator cuff repair, the cuff is torn in every possible place, the bicep also has a deep tear in it.  They were astounded that I can even move it, I can raise my arms up over my head and out to the side and they said that patients with this injury usually present with the arm at their side and basically say that it is "paralyzed" because of the pain.  There is very significant damage to the bone and their recommendation is a reverse shoulder replacement.  They do not usually do them on patients under the age of 75 and it is clearly not without risks.  I am 63.  They told me to think about, the recovery is about 6 months and I have the same pain and difficulty on the OTHER side which needs to be imaged.  They gave me a shot of cortisone into the shoulder space and I go back after the New Year.  The resident told me it is a "quality of life" issue and that waiting even ten years is not going to change anything, at this point, the only muscle working is my deltoid.  I lifted weights and swam for years, probably the only reason I can still move.  The pain is out of control SOMETIMES, but I have to decide if the risks are worth the fix...when they do this surgery, they cut off the top of the humerus, which is the large bone in your arm, they drive a prosthesis into what is left and it has a cup on it, the ball portion of the joint is put at the top into where the capsule is normally, hence the name, reverse replacement.  I explained it to my 26 year old son and he said, "so you'll be like an action figure."  Can't get that image out of my head.  The upside is that the pain would most likely be under control.  I have some serious thinking and research to do. Thanks, love.
