My mom and dad's ashes are buried in the same grave. Thay died 15 days apart. Even if Momma hadn't been as sick.....she wouldn't have lasted long without Daddy. They were together 56 years. He was the love of her life, and losing Daddy would've caused her to die of that "broken heart" Patricia's post spoke of. Even though she had dementia.....she knew he was gone.....and she had nothing left to live for. She just quit. That kind of love doesn't happen much anymore. I have never had it...that's for sure!

My Grandma died on Easter weekend . They never told my Grandpa . I felt that was wrong . Grandpa kelp saying wheres my wife , where she go . He died 3 months later ....

Wayne, they haven't done my hip yet; we had to reschedule it because of kidney issues. It is set for the 22nd. Wish me luck. I am not concerned about the surgery....just the thing with the blood thinners. I don't want to have another clot. I might not be so lucky this time. Crossing fingers, ya know?

I told you it would make you cry. My wife and I had many adventures but then like Ellie she was gone. It has been 8 years and I am still not over it.
