Yup. Had an epiphany today on lesson. I've ridden 2 school masters who were lame since I started learning dressage and I only rode them a total of 4 times. I've ridden primarily untrained school horses except for Nathan who did eventing and had been exposed to the basics of dressage. I think I've done pretty good, but maybe next year I might seek out a dressage camp to have the experience of riding a school master.
I know, Carol--there's not much activity on the website in general, and I guess the "specialty" subjects suffer most.
But as long as there's you and me, it's still fun!
For most of the year it's been you and me, Angharad, posting things. It's like our own private website! haha
HAHAHAHA! I don't know who the girl is, Athena. It's a great photo, though, isn't it?
The sweet horse says, "Hey, this is a private moment--Give us a break!" :>)
(Just FYI, there's a picture of me seven pictures into "My Pictures" on my profile page. I'm 61--I WISH I looked as young as that girl!)
Is that you?
Ok, who is the girl & the horse licking her? It looks like the horse is looking right at the camera, doesn't it?
Oh, Awww, thank u so much 4 the pic & video!! It's amazing to know that it's a 1/10,000 chance of happening & it happened in our lifetime!! Thank u again. Athena
Shows how unobservant I am at times...I didn't notice that she looked too thin! thankfully others did and took action... good job!
Okay...here's a link to the video...FINALLY!

After seeing the mare, Betty Girl, online, hundreds of people have called the Georgia Department of Agriculture’s Equine Health Section alerting them to her extremely malnourished appearance. Both the GA Equine Health Section and the Tift County Animal Control are monitoring her health and that of the foals now.
Betty Girl and her foals are currently under veterinary care--THANK GOODNESS!
