I'm wishing that the ice and snow would melt in the outdoor ring because I'm really tired of the crowding and discourtesy of those riding in the indoor. Again Valencia got startled by an oncoming horse and sat back suddenly on her haunches throwing my upper body onto her neck. I lost my right stirrup but kept my seat. It took ma a bit to settle down and then I spent most of my lesson looking over my shoulder to see where this rider/horse was in the ring. She is getting better about bending and keeping her rhythmic trot.
