This is a lamp that I had in my antique shop for quite awhile before I could identify the material it is made from. I eventually ended up with two of of them and gave both to my daughter cause she is a lamp nut! Anyway, after I found out what it was, every time someone showed interest, I made them hold it in their hands before I told them that it was made from a dried camel bladder. They were probably made in the 1940's and 50's as a tourist souvenir. Hmmmm, funny, no one ever bought either one. Anyway, I gonna ask my Dr if he can put my bladder in a jar so that I can bring it home, dry it out' and paint it!!!
I had my tonsils placed in a jar - brought them to school for Show & Tell. I was 8 or 9. Rub that lamp and a genie might pop out and grant your wish for a take it home badder.
I've heard of genies in a bottle, (and some quite attractive), but I'm almost afraid of what kind of genie that would appear by rubbing a camel's bladder? Oh course, at this point, I don't have many options funes, so I'll give it a try and let you know how it works out.
I don't know funes, I rubbed and rubbed, and now I gotta pee!!
Some day I gotta have a long talk with you Tee. :)
Please just make sure you use simple words funes. And a diagram might help too.
Friday is getting closer, and I'm just about scared shitless.
Steady Tee.. let the love light through my brother...Majik is afoot
