The story that comes to mind is the guy that handed the clerk a $20....and asked for change. When the clerk opened the till...the robber grabbed the money in the till and ran out of the store...leaving the $20. His take from the till....$13.
lmao
A would be bank robber in Florida was apprehended within 90 minutes of his escape. How did he get caught so fast? One of the person he told to get down on the floor was his mother who was a customer of the bank he robbed.
Not all the lawbreakers are stupid....sometimes the lawmakers are dumbasses

Hey!! The City is broke man!! U gotta do what u gota do to raise some finances!
I like the guy that robbed everyone in a restaurant,
He then went to the bar and ordered a cup of coffee and sat down with his back to the customers that he just robbed..
They pounced on him and beat the crap out of him.
A woman who committed credit card fraud and got snagged because she used her grocery discount card at the same time.
Then there was the two guys in NYC who had the social security check of a guy who just died, and went to cash it at a check cashing place. When the cashier said that he had to see the owner of that check actually sign the check, they went home, put the dead man into an office chair with wheels, and literally rolled the man down the street..to the check cashing place!! When they got there, one of the guys lifted up the man's arm and put a pen into the man's hand, and 'help him sign the check!' A true story folks!
DALLAS - Police said two burglars struck a Texas store that sells high-end security equipment, and the whole thing was caught on tape by 17 cameras rolling in the store.

The thieves broke into Webb's surveillance gear store in North Richland Hills, Texas, last week. "I've got them on no less than 17 cameras," Webb said. "We are a security business."

And if the name of the business wasn't telling enough, multiple warning signs on the store should have given the burglars a clue that they would be on camera. The surveillance cameras caught several clear images of the two men who broke in through the store's front door with a crowbar early Friday.

Police said the duo filled a trash can with close to $10,000 worth of spy equipment. Authorities said the video even showed a clear shot of their getaway car.
