LOL, Angharad....you made my morning 38.75% funnier. Robertson is one of those fellows whose stupidity on a wide variety of subjects is truly transcendental. Another of my favorites is that a woman owes a man sex if he washes the dishes for her.

This is a story of courage, positivity, heart, soul, and the kindness of strangers.
Barbara Morrison is a fabulous jazz/blues singer who is less well-known than she should be, in my opinion. She's not only a fine musician, she's a teacher, an advocate, a humanitarian, and diamond in humanity's crown.
In 2011 she had a leg amputated due to complications from diabetes. She couldn't work, and not being rich, bills and worries overwhelmed her. To help out, friends set up a Paypal account in her behalf so that donations could be made. I don't know the total amount which was gathered, but I do know that it rolled in, by single dollars and higher denominations, and that the money relieved her of much of her financial burden. HOORAY for acts of kindness!!!
Here's a video of Barbara belting out a song of love and gratitude in 20012 from a wheelchair. It's clear she's not feeling 100% herself; but, baby, she is glowing and upbeat! Her attitude surely puts day-to-day problems in perspective.
BTW, here's a link to her website where you can make donations to the non-profit Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center in Leimert Park (Los Angeles), California which is helping to revitalize a once-vibrant hub of African American culture and arts.
