Bread 'n' Butter Pudding with Vanilla

Hi, Ozzie!  I never made bread pudding, but that sounds good!

Well, thanks Goldilocks, and I bet Mama Bear used to make it 

in her cottage in the woods for Papa and Baby Bear as well

because it is just so easy, you just beat about 4 eggs into

a couple of litres of milk with a little sugar added,

(sometimes sultanas are used instead of sugar),

plus a few drops of vanilla, pour this into a greased baking dish,

then butter the tops of 4 slices of bread

(or enough to cover surface) with crusts left on

and place them directly resting on top of the milk in the dish,

(cut the bread at angles to fit in if you have to),

and then sprinkle that with a little nutmeg on top,

place this dish on a tray that has a little water in it

into a moderate oven for 30-45 mins  - it is so yummo!
