Kat, or maybe it was akabukowski, once said to me that everyone thinks their life would make a good book.

She is probably right. What do you think?

Here is your chance.

Let's all tell stories from our experiences as we traveled through time.

Ahh, but there has to be rules. They will be pretty loose, but rules there must be.

RULES:

1. It can be any experience that you want to tell us about.

2. It can be as short as one line. Or as long as fifty. Anything over thirty will be deleted.

3.You do not have to end the story at fiftyy lines, but you have to quit writing at the end of fiftyy lines. You can not post again until at least one other person has posted something.

This ensures that everyone gets a chance.

4.You can continue on the same subject or jump to a new one.

5. Nothing is required to be in chronological order.

6. Very Graphic Sexual discriptions should be posted in the sex talk group. You can direct us to go there if we want to read about it.

7. No one will be checking the facts

8. Additional rules will be posted and implemented as I see fit.

Step right up and post. who knows, the next knock on your door may be Spielberg asking for the movie rights.

I agree with everyone else. Sure glad you made it. I have really enjoyed knowing you and hope to see you again sometime this winter.

Kooner, I didn't get upset that others disagreed with me. I just felt that I might have stirred some up needlessly. I'll try to explain.

I did not say that words can't hurt. I said that they could only hurt if you let them. Possibly our definition of hurt is not the same. Of course words can hurt. We are verbal animals. But, to me Hurt is something that is either physical or very long lasting and disruptive if mental.

After allowing myself to be hurt by words a few times I decided that it was something that I could control. I can be upset by words, I can be pissed off by words. Words in an efficiency report could have hurt my career. But I refuse to let words said or written by someone to "hurt" me.

I have been over this with others enough times to know that most people do not agree with this outlook. But to me, that is a choice.

Thanks Merry, and B.A F. I'm just trying to explain why I'm a goof ball. Nothing online is serious to me, just goofing around. Yes, my real life is a little more serious, but not by much. I'm just here to have a few laughs, and hopefully make some one else smile. (I prefer giggles, but will settle for smiles)

TBUB, *tsup I am very glad you are alive! I'm sure you were meant to be kept alive if only to meet the love of your life, your wife. Your brain is a tough cookie and I think your constitution is inherently strong to weather the poisoning. How long ago was this??

Hi Maricel, I've been cancer free for 7 and a half years. The radiation was supposed to be 6 weeks, and due to all the complications, took twice that long. The chemo was supposed to be 7 weeks, but took nearly 6 months. I ended up with some permanent side effects from the radiation that have complicated my life, but I'm not sorry, bitter, pissed off, or any other negative thing. It is what it is, and I've learned to deal. And there are tons of other fine folks that have gone through much worse. And I think my hernia problems are finally over with. That only took 10 years and 7 operations. I don't believe in the old saying that what ever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. If that were true, I probably be Superman by now.
