Winter!

December was warm--but Jan. hit with a vengeance! We had about 11 inches of snow & then temps down to zero and below this past week. With a neighbor's help, my husband (after 3-4 days) got our car cleared off & the driveway halfway cleaned off as well. But since we had already done our monthly stock-up--and before it hit, my husband also found some small bundles of wood in case we need the fireplace--I don't plan on going out at all till it's warmer! We had to turn the furnace up a notch, so we're warm and cozy. As much as I hate it, I've gotten used to wearing long-sleeve sweatshirts. but my PJ 'bottoms' are warm and comfy. One plus for being 'old', lol--I can wear whatever I want since we don't get visitors. And ATT had an area outage, so we lost internet/landline for about 15 hrs--overnight. Then for the next 24 hrs, it was in/out. Maybe 'in' for a minute, then out again. Thankfully, unlike our neighbor, our DirecTV isn't connected to the internet, so we had TV. And I had a lot of eBooks to read, etc.  But we didn't lose power!
