Was supposed to have cataract surgery today. When I was at the DR's a couple weeks ago, they said the 21st was surgery day, and that I would need to see the DR again on the 22nd. They didn't have a time for the surgery, but said they would call as soon as they had a time slot for me. I started using the eye drops 4 days ago as instructed. When no one called with a time yesterday, my wife called the surgery center, and they said they didn't know yet, but would call back before 5 o'clock. At about 4, my wife decided to call the DR's office to see if they had a time. She was told that my insurance hadn't OK'ed the procedure yet, so surgery was canceled. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
