LJ - what great taste in films we (er... YOU) have! (grin) I love Rashomon - and Night of the Hunter was deliciously dark!! Shelly Winters best definitely!!

Am I the only one who thought THX1128 was a classic moive? Robert Duval's first I think. George Lucas first effort. In addition, the "THX" sound sytem used in theaters was modeled after the title of the movie. I thought it was a great film neo-noir type.

I went to school with Burt Lancaster's daughter - never asked her that question! oh well!

Actually, I've heard that stars such as Burt Lancaster, Omar Sharif, Danny Kaye...they were all bisexual. Not that that matters, or anything...

Oh, and Nick I don't think HB was bisexual! (wink)

Petrified Forest is fun. Good old Duke Mantee! Love young Ida Lupino too! I thinkthat one qualifies as classic - great dialogue and cast!

I am going to watch The Petrified Forest with Bogart in it tonight. It is a good one.

Given that Collins also repeats the canard that the mob shot JFK, I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in this. While anything is possible, probability is something else again.

If you look long enough, I suspect you can find rumors of homo/bi-sexuality about just about every major star.

Alendar, I'm very sorry but indications are that he was possibly bisexual - he was married with children, but...http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,102459,00.html

Spencer Tracy was NOT light in the loafers!
