1) Form a new word from the current word by rearranging the letters &/or changing ONE letter only.

The twin who isn't a lush quite obviously has issues of her own; the RATIO of mental instability runs pretty high in this family!

Perhaps twin #1 feels the need to successfully fortify herself in order to orate successfully, given the large number of people whom she plans to address.

Well, I think it's simply b/c Hilly, Twin #1 (Hillary & Jillian, nicknamed "Hilly" & "Jilly") always had an arrogant air about her. Seems their parents RATED her higher b/c Jilly's name became so tainted when they wound up in a feud w/their Aunt Jillian that she was named after when she left their uncle, ran off w/the pool boy, embezzled all the family's inheritance & became a Vegas showgirl after a lift & a tuck & a couple of implants.

They all DREAD the day they get together for the 4th of July family picnic.

Especially when crazy Auntie Em makes much ado about nothing & READS everybody the riot act.

Crazy Auntie Em had on purple plastic shoes and a gaudy green and bright pink checkered DRESS made form an old tablecloth, the ole' bluetick houndog took a look and sniff under her DRESS and..

threw his head back & began howling. The gang of little kids nearby started laughing so hard they knocked over the big bowl of garden CRESS salad on the table and...

after having their mouths washed out with soap for being so rowdy, they went in search of some CERTS breath mints, hoping to eradicate the taste of soap.

This family is really screwed up; washing kids' mouths out with soap? A TERSE word, if anything, would've sufficed.
