I see that the fire is out now because this deep sea drill...drilling at the time more than 5 MILES down...has collapsed and is now pouring crude into the Gulf.

I wonder that we suddenly don't hear much from the Drill Baby Drill crowd....

Nah. That would be an inconvenient truth. Or the price we pay for energy independence, or whatever Sarah's handlers think she should say or not say. I have come to the conclusion it's all just high theater, and if I spend too long thinking about it, I lose sight of the real problems at hand.

Oh relax. Big ol' closeted homophobes with a predilection for synthetic opiates and confrontation are typically their own worst enemy. But he is the voice for a segment of the boomers who feel they've never gotten what they feel is their due. I think the most galling thing to liberals is that the segment he appeals to just embrace the guy.

I saw the BP shill on the TODAY show this morning. They're attempting AGAIN today to cap the well with a blow out valve. The glory hole is more than a mile down...inaccessible by man...only by machines. The alternative, which may not work, is to drill a 'relief well'. He said that the drilling platform has arrived (said nothing about when the drilling starts.) According to the BP shill, the leak will be fixed "today, or 90 days from today..." Encouraging news for the Drill Baby Drill crowd.

I see The Great Alaska Quitter has closed her face about it recently. I guess there are silver linings.
