6 Letter Word Game

Take the current word & form a new word from it by rearranging the letters &/or replacing 1 or 2 of the letters.
I started some of these on the original tbd site & really enjoyed them, so I thought I'd have a go at it here.
Since Thanksgiving is approaching how about we start with one that I think will prove challenging....

420 is code for (mostly kids, I hope ;-p) hooking up to smoke pot... there's a couple of stories about it's origin, but the most widely accepted one is kids at a particular high school coining the phrase, saying they'll meet over at such & such a place at 4:20. The meaning has gotten stretched to include things like "420 friendly," etc. For example, when I rent my house, ppl who are "420 friendly" know not to bother inquiring, b/c I include "no illegal drug use on property" in the post. I've actually seen posts that say "420 friendly." I guess it got a lot of use yesterday, since it was 4/20, which apparently has come to be known as "weed day". I just jumped on the bandwagon here. ;-p
