Word Game Trifecta!

1) Form a new word from the current word by rearranging the letters &/or changing ONE letter only.

2) Include your new word in a sentence.

3) Sentence must build on the previous sentence to tell a story! ;-P

Well, I think it might have something to do w/popping too many corks out of wine bottles; they're pretty easily amused after the 3rd bottle.

But they have to get rid of those racks and racks full of wine some way; can't let it go to waste (or waist, whichever you prefer)! They might even invite the knaves to join in and share a sip or two.
