October Is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

As an advocate for victims of abuse, I ask you to please be aware that a woman is beaten every 15 seconds in this country. Most of us have come into contact with someone who is being abused. A common response is to think.....It's none of my business. I challenge you to think differently. Please find a way to reach out to the victim......even if it's just to let her (or him) know that help is available.
Domestic violence is everyone's business. Please do something to help today.
