More of those family values the right keeps talking about?

Three words for him if he still thinks that way. He's a ido- fill in the blank!
since he has tried to implement most of what he proposed in the thesis, i'm afraid he is still at least in the dim ages, if not the dark ages.
I am certain that many conservatives believe that womens role is homemakers but they don't have the gut to say it. When Trent Lott expressed their nestalgic idea, most of them cheers silently. I have lots of co-workers and friends who feel like they are living in the time period they don't belong to. Often times, they express it openly. They bitterly Hate Mrs Clinton, not only because of her political stances, but also they feel women shouldn't be in power positions. I listen most of these the socalled " consevative" talk show hosts, they manuplate these people, they tell them what to do, to whom to vote for and whom to hate. The Nov election of Obama big shoke and didn't believe the pollsters, they didn't see it coming. One of called me the next morning and said the End the world is coming. He said Homosexuals( he used colorful word) are out in public, women are giving order, and now good old America elect this man. The Republican party is hyjacked by people like these. It is no wonder there is no single elected republicans left in the New England area. Their ideal time is way passed- prior to 1950.
It is the economic necessity of twin incomes to support a family that is detrimental, and this nation is headed to hell in a shopping cart.
Jacquin writes " group that was denied the right to vote until about 90 years ago I find it pretty pathetic when I listen to some loud buffoon white guy ". You are right Jac. A few years back I saw a documentary about women sufferage movement on PBS. I was surprised to learn that some of the people who taunted , cursed and spat at these womens' right activists were women themselves. It is one thing, men got hostile, though it is piteous and pitiable. But except for being suckers, I couldn't come up any rationale for women who were adverse, belligerent and malicious towards the very people who are fighting for them. I am sure this Republican candidate who is running for governer of Virginia would say I was 34 years young and I was trying to please and suck up the owner and the staffs of the university, It is not my current otlook towards women, and some of them would buy it, I hope not the majority.
By his mid-thirties, you can'tchalk it up to "youthful indescretion." He's campaigning like it's 1952 (or is it 1864? Witches, anyone?) because that's where he is in his head.

Are there any odds available on his chances in this race?
looks like he is still ahead. mcdonnel 51% - deeds 42%

That doesn't speak well of the Virginian voter.
The fact that he went to Pat Robertson’s Regent Law School should have been an indicator that he would be a lousy politician.
Jacquin, don't you get it? They are the ones that get to decide what freedom is and who gets it. They have absolutely no ability to be rational. How the hell would the average family survive on one income, and you know every time there is a call to increase the minimum wage to a living wage, big business can count on these same idiots to say it will hurt business. The other they I really don't understand, is that many of these people's forefathers fought and sometimes died for the creation of unions. You would think they would remember what is was like to have no rights or protections.
