1966: The Troggs unintentionally pull off a truly unique one: Their song "Wild Thing" becomes the only #1 hit single to be simultaneously released on two different, competing labels.
An unresolved dispute over the song's US distribution results in both Fontana and Atco releasing their own pressings - Exact same song, exact same polyvinyl chloride, just different pieces of paper glued to each side.
